If you have satellite radio, and listen to The Highway, you’ve probably already heard this song. It’s been getting a lot of airplay. The song also features Richie McDonald, and a little of that “Amazed” sound that we got from Lonestar back in 1999. [Photo above is scene from new video, taken from Haley & Michaels’ Facebook page].
I got to see Haley & Michaels in February, 2013, at 12th and Porter in Nashville. To say I was impressed would be an understatement. If you missed the article we put up after that show, you can read it by clicking here.
Shannon Haley and Ryan Michaels have a really interesting story. They are from California, and grew up just three miles apart. However, they never met each other until they moved to Nashville, where they were introduced by a mutual friend. Their bio tells it better than I can: Combining their two unique voices into one complete sound, the well-blended harmonies of Haley & Michaels is catching on fire and captivating music lovers across the country.
The first song I ever heard by these two was “The Price I Pay,” and I think that will always be one of my favorite songs. If you have a minute, I hope you will click here, to see the video for that one. You’ll notice not only how great that song is, but how well these two work together.
I really hope you will all check out Haley & Michaels. Let me now what you think of these two. Leave a comment, Tweet me, or drop me an e-mail. I really think you will all like them as much as I do. Let the folks at The Highway know what you think too, by sending them a message on Twitter @SXMTheHighway.
