I have seenLuke Bryan in concert. But, I never got saw what the fans in Charlotte saw last night. Seems our buddy, Luke, got a little too close to the edge of the stage when he decided to take a step forward. There was only one place to go from there – straight down. Luke fell off the stage at the PNC Music Pavilion, and remained on the floor for a little bit before security and concert officials came over to him. I think Luke needs to slow down, or be more careful in North Carolina. Back in February of this year, he had a fall on stage in Greensboro, N.C.!
Following the show business tradition of “The show must go on,” Luke stood up, got back on the stage, and continued singing. He even joked with the crowd about his fall. Luke received a few stitches for his injuries.
This has been a strange day of editing here at Country’s Chatter. The video from the Charlotte show had been availble on YouTube, but for some reason, it’s been taken down. While it was up on YouTube, we had it up here as well. I kept my eye on YouTube, and someone actually put up a better video of the fall, more of the performance with Luke, Lee Brice and Cole Swindell all on stage. Hopefully, this one will stay for a while. Below is the Charlotte fall during the May 29, 2014, show. {If you don’t want to wait for the fall, go to the 1:05 spot on the video and wait a few seconds.]
We’ve seen other injuries on stage. Back in June, 2009, Keith Urban took a tumble from a stage n Memphis. It was in April 2008 that Kenny Chesney got one of his foot stuck in an elevator that was bringing him up to the stage from beneath it. Scotty McCreery, Brad Paisley’’, Jake Owen, and even Carrie Underwood have had their little slip-and-fall moments on stage. [Source]

More soon! Time to enjoy a little bit of this great Friday weather!

You wouldn’t think singing for a living would be a dangerous job. Very glad Luke Bryan is okay after his fall. http://t.co/g1EEAusnRL
