Last night, fans in Boone, N.C., had an opportunity to see Little Big Town perform at the Appalachian Summer Festival. Their performance was followed by a fireworks display. The outdoor concert was held at Kidd Brewer Stadium on the Appalachian State University campus. Blue Ridge Electric Membership Corporation and Goodnight Brothers were event sponsors.
I was not in that audience, but fortunately, I had a friend with a camera who was. A big thank you to Lisa Perkins, for these great shots from last night’s show. Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Phillip Sweet and Jimi Westbrook, who have given us such hits as Little White Church, Tornado, Boondocks and Pontoon, and earned many CMA, ACM and Grammy nominations throughout their 13 year career put on a great show for the crowd.
For those of you who couldn’t get to this show, here are some pictures for you to enjoy! Lisa said the show was wonderful! With the harmonies these four give us, I wouldn’t expect anything else.
In addition to their web site, be sure to check out Little Big Town’s Facebook page. You can follow them on Twitter, too, @littlebigtown. Remember, if you aren’t already following Country’s Chatter on Twitter, we’d love to have you. You will find us @countryschatter.
Again, thanks to Lisa Perkins for sharing these great pictures with all of us!
Back with more soon,
