City of Hope benefit 057It’s been a while since we’ve had any new music from Whitney Duncan. A lot of us remember her from the television show Nashville Star. One of the songs she did during her time on that show was later released as a single. The song, “Skinny Dippin’,” only made it to No. 48 on the U.S. country charts. Her single, “When I Said I Would,” also ended up at No. 48.

WhitneyThe new single is called “Roll All Night,” and will be available on iTunes on Sept. 23. I haven’t heard the song yet. I went to Whitney’s web site, hoping for a preview, but found her web site is ‘under construction’. Of course I checked YouTube, too. Just wanted to see if maybe she had a live performance of the song up from one of her shows. But, she didn’t. So, I can’t really tell you about the song. But, if you remember Whitney, you will probably agree that it is time we have something new from this very talented artist.

keithwhitneyYou might also remember Whitney as a contestant on the television reality show, Survivor (Survivor South Pacific). And, if you enjoyed that, get ready for her next reality show appearance. Whitney will be on the new season of Amazing Race, which premiers on Sept. 26 on CBS. Whitney’s teammate will be her fiance, Keith Tollefson.

Rutledge 169My favorite song, that featured Whitney, was one of Kenny Rogers’ called “My World Is Over”.  We’ve got that one for you, below. “My World is Over” was  actually written by Whitney. I love the song. So, she’s a talented singer and songwriter. She was also the duet partner for Jimmy Wayne in “Just Knowing You Love Me,” also one you can hear on YouTube.

In addition to Whitney’s web site, you can also keep up with her on Facebook, Remember to ‘Like’ the page while you are there! You can also follow her on Twitter @whitneyduncan. If you aren’t following Country’s Chatter on Twitter, we’d love to have you! You will find us @countryschatter.

I’ll be back with more soon! In the meantime, get ready! We’ve only got four more days until the new music from Whitney Duncan!
