AmberWe’ve been fans of Amber Hayes for quite a while now. The folks here at Country’s Chatter have enjoyed following her career, and sharing news about this up-and-coming artist with all of you . Some of you may remember an article we posted last April, about Amber’s single, “Any Day is a Good Day”. We were really excited about that single, and a lot of us here are still singing it! It is a happy song, with a message for all of us, that we shouldn’t take anything we have for granted. If you missed that article, you can check it out by clicking here.

Today, we have more news to share with all of you about Amber. She released a new EP a little while ago, it has five songs, and is called Running Out of Memories. We’ve listened to the EP, we enjoyed it, and we know all of you will, too! There are so many great new country artists right now, but we believe Amber has a real uniqueness in her voice, that will quickly set her apart from many of the other artists.

Amber has done just about everything – she is a singer, songwriter, actress and has performed in theater. She was part of the cast for Conway Twittey, The Man, The Music, The Legend…The Musical. In that show, she played the role of Kathy Twitty. AmberHayes_06072012_0709The album, which is released through GMV Nashville/A-OK Entertainment, is available oniTunes, Amazon and other major digital retailers. Running Out Of Memories features three new songs that are produced by Bobby Terry, a remix of her previously released tune, “Me & Loretta,” and a new rendition of “Cotton Eyed Joe,” which was in the family-film, Cowgirls ‘N Angels 2: Dakota’s Summer.

Hayes comments, “I am so ready to share new music with Country music fans. I’ve wanted to work with Bobby Terry for a long time and I’m so excited to do so on this project. He has always blown me away with his talent. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the time I’ve spent looking for and co-writing these three new songs and I feel like they are just right for me.” [Source]

AHArt_CoverOnly-999x1024Running Out Of Memories track listing:

“Running Out Of Memories” – Amber Hayes, Bill Diluigi, JP Williams
“How Can I Feel” – Rebecca Lynn Howard, Elisha Hoffman, Jody Aaron Friedman
“If I Were In Your Boots” – Adam Fears, John Northrup, Tiffany Jena Babson
“Cotton Eyed Joe” – Dance Remix – Amber Hayes, Charlie Kelly
“Me & Loretta” Remix (re-release) – Amber Hayes, Brady Seals, Brian Eckert

There’s nothing not to like about this EP. It’s everything ‘today’s country’ music is all about, with a lot of ‘yesterday’s country’ in there, too. It will make you tap your toes, want to dance, and probably sing along. I’m not sure why we aren’t hearing Amber on our local radio, but I hope that won’t be too far off. I love the title track, and I think “If I Were In Your Boots” is my second favorite. “Cotton Eyed Joe” is definitely the ‘fun song’ out of the five; but, thee are definitely no bad ones! It will be fun to see which of these five Amber might decide to ship out to radio as a single.  I know which I would pick. I’d love to hear what the rest of you think.

I hope you will all visit her web site. Be sure to check out her Facebook page, too – and, remember to “Like” it while you are there! You can follow her on twitter, too, @amberhayesmusic. If you aren’t already following Country’s Chatter on Twitter, we’d love to have you! You will find us @countryschatter.

Back with more as soon as we can!
