Jordyn Stoddard released her debut album, “Southern Tide”, on March 9, 2015. The young artist from Jacksonville, Fla., has an impressive group of writers taking part in this new album. Songs will include her new single, (which she chose for her first video), “Like Me ‘Til You Love Me,” was written by Eric Paslay (Lady Antebellum, Rasscal Flatts), Chris Wallin (Garth brooks, Kenny Chesney) and Matt Nolan.
Jordyn is set to kick off a 20 market high school tour with markets that include New York, Austin and New Orleans.
The album was produced by Grammy award winning producer, David Hall.
The about section on her web site tells us that at age 16, she “sings with the soul of a seasoned veteran, strums a signature turquoise guitar and has years of songwriting under her belt.”
She has performed throughout the Southeast sharing the stage with such country notables as Montgomery Gentry, The Gatlin Brothers, Easton Corbin, Matt Stillwell and Sunday Best and headlining for the PRS Rodeo Tour. Festivals such as the Ham Jam in Green Cove Springs, the Jacksonville Beach Jazz Festival, and the Callahan, Baker County, Clay County and Alachua County fairs have all called on Stoddard to entertain crowds of thousands and locally you’ll find her performing regularly at The Landing, Salt Life, Jack Rabbits, The Brick and Cafe 11. Stoddard also performs the National Anthem for numerous professional and college sporting events. [Source]
Here is her video for the single, “Like Me ‘Til You Love Me.” It’s playful and fun. And, I think it is a great start for this talented young lady.
