I think by now most of our readers could complete this opening paragraph for me. You have all heard me say it often enough. I love social media! One of the reasons is because our artists take the time to post pictures of what they have been doing, and where they have been. So, even when we can’t go with them – we know.
Earlier today, Lucas Hoge posted pictures from his recent trip to the Middle East, where he took part in the Wrangler National Patriot Tour over Memorial Day. He was there to show our U.S. Military men and women that we are thinking about them – not just on Memorial Day, but every day.
I hope you will all head over to Lucas’ Facebook page, and check out the rest of the photos from this trip. If you haven’t been there before, and “Liked” it – I hope you’ll take a second and click that button while you are there. Not familiar with Lucas Hoge yet? Maybe it’s time you visit his YouTube page, too and listen to some of his music.
I’ve been a fan for quite a while now. His song “Sharing the Journey” will always be one of my favorites. His new summer-fun song is Flip Flops. You can see that video on YouTube. While we are talking social media, let’s not forget Twitter. You can follow Lucas @lucashoge. If you aren’t already following Country’s Chatter on Twitter, we’d love to have you! You will find us @countryschatter.
Take a minute, and have a listen to this great song by Lucas, “Sharing The Journey”.
Take you, Lucas – for visiting our troops overseas, and for sharing your pictures with all of us!
