As part of his continuing partnership with Eckrich and Operation Homefront, chart-topping singer/songwriter Randy Houser made time during his May 14 tour stop in Boise, Idaho to meet with Army veteran Corporal Aaron Woods and his family and surprise them with one year of free groceries at Albertsons, courtesy of Eckrich. Houser, who just released his new single “We Went”from a forthcoming studio album, is a longtime supporter of the military and has been helping Eckrich to pay tribute to military families by hosting and honoring them at select concerts since last year.
“Any time I can spend some time with a military family is special for me,” said Houser. “These families have sacrificed so much so I can go out and perform and do what I love. It was great to meet the Woods family, hear their story and have them enjoy the concert courtesy of my partner, Eckrich.”
Houser will continue his trek with Luke Bryan and Dustin Lynch on the Kick The Dust Up Tour this weekend with stops in Spokane, Wash. tonight and Tacoma, Wash. tomorrow, May 16.
