His name is Ty March. His bio tells us he comes from Carlisle, Pa. His vocals tell us he is headed to Nashville. We learned a lot about Ty from the short bio that appears on his web page. He was a former drummer with a popular metal band, Capture The Crown, and he explored many genres over the years. But, he finally decided to follow his heart, his web site tells us, and separated from the band. Ty said, “I went back to my down-home country roots that I grew up on”.
I’ll have to admit that everything I know about Ty I learned on his web site, Facebook page, and YouTube, where I listened to a lot of his music. There was nothing there that I didn’t like. “Fishin’ Boat Lovin’,” is a great song. I don’t know if Ty had a hand in writing this, but he certainly knows how to sing it. His web site tells us this was his second ‘original single’. I wasn’t sure if that meant ‘original, as in Ty wrote it,” or ‘original, as in it wasn’t a cover of someone else’s hit”. In either case, it’s a great song. I’m not sure how far Ty got with either that single, or his first one, “Finally Friday”. I hadn’t heard them on commercial radio, or even on XM’s The Highway (where we get a lot of music from new artists). Either one of these songs was worthy of a spot on any country radio station playlist.
We do know that Ty is more than just a singer. while we don’t know if he wrote the songs we just talked about, we do know that he is a songwriter. In an interview with The Sentinel, a Pennsylvania newspaper, Ty said, “I write my songs based off of feelings and I love the way country music makes me feel”. I believe country music fans are going to like the way Ty’s music makes them feel, too.
He has a lot of on-stage experience, playing fairs and festivals in almost every major city in the U.S. Ty’s web site bio ends by telling us all that he is “performing live regionally and is extremely excited to jump out from behind the drum set and share his passion for singing country music to his fans and the world.” Jump on out here, Ty. I think we’re ready, too
I think his cover of Luke Bryan’s “crash My Party” is one of the best I’ve heard. so, we’re going to share that video with you HERE.
I hope you will all take a few minutes and go to YouTube, to check out more of Ty’s music. I believe you are really going to like what you hear. He has several songs available on iTunes. Ty has some pictures and videos for you all to check out on Instagram, too. While you are out on the Internet, be sure to visit his Facebook page, and please remember to “Like” it while you are there. Don’t forget about Twitter! That is actually where I first ran across Ty. We love social medial, and we love our artists who take the time to tweet to their fans, and let us know what is going on in their world. Ty seems to be very good at that. You can follow him on Twitter @Tymarchcountry. If you are not already following Country’s Chatter on Twitter, we’d love to have you. You wll find us @countryschatter.
We hope everyone is having a great Sunday. We’ll be back with more news soon!
