We live in a time when law suits seem to be … well, just what people do. There is one lawyer after the next coming on television telling us to call them … if… Then, on and on it goes. Were you hurt in an accident? Did you take a drug that made you sicker? Have you worked in asbestos? Did you spill hot coffee on yourself at a fast-food restaurant? You get the idea. We’re all smart enough to know that most of those suits do nothing more than put money into the hands of the lawyers. However, some lawsuits, we believe, are necessary.
Blake Shelton has filed a suit that makes us want to sit up and say, “Good for you, Blake”. “In touch” was wrong. Blake doesn’t want to hear it anymore. Apparently the magazine had reported that Blake’s problems with alcohol not only caused his break up with Miranda, but they also put him in Rehab.
Not true, says Blake and his attorney, who have filed for $2 million because of the false statements in the magazine.
Good Luck, Blake. Someone needs to put the brakes on these ridiculous articles.
I’m sure many of you are watching Blake on The Voice. Keep up with him on his web site and social media, too!
