We are vey long-time Toby Keith fans. I have a great deal of respect and admiration for this man’s talent. I’ve noticed over the years that the folks who dish out awards every year don’t seem to agree with me. But, I have a feeling Toby doesn’t much care about that. He continues to give us some of the best music we have these days; he fills every kind venue when he performs; and he is selling his great music. I believe that’s probably more important to Toby than how many statues he has in his trophy case.
Toby has more music for us. It is the next single from his album “35 MPH Town”. It is called “Beautiful Stranger”. It is a beautiful song. Like every Toby fan out there, I do like songs like, “Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue,” “Should’ve Been a Cowboy,” Country Comes to Town,” “How Do You Like Me Now,” and “You Ain’t Much Fun”. But for me, the best ones are the Toby ballads. “Beautiful Stranger” is a Toby ballad at its best.
Toby has a lot keeping him busy these days. He has the cover on the Oct. 10 issue of NASH Country Weekly, continues his great work with Toby Keith Foundation’s OK Kids Korral, for children with cancer; works with Wounded Warrior Project; recently filmed for the Wounded Warriors Project’s “Believe In Heroes” campaign begins airing nationally October 24. You get the idea. It is non-stop for Toby Keith.
Thanks to daughter, Krystal, we have a great photo that she took of her mom with Toby, and Magic Johnson at a recent LA Dodgers game. Thanks, Krystal. We love social media, and we appreciate you sharing this with all of your fans. Above the photo, Krystal wrote: When you realize that your mom is REALLY TINY! A press release tells us that “Beautiful Stranger” shipped out for radio airplay on Tuesday (10/13). I hope everyone at country radio is ready for this one. Program directors, have you listened to it yet – I know all Toby’s fans are ready to hear it. Listen to this great song, everyone – let me know what you think.
