WMMorganWe don’t always get them right. But, when we put up an article about William Michael Morgan, back on April 13, 2010 – we knew we had this one right.   We titled the article “Always Country – William Michael Morgan”.  That was 2010. this is 2015 – and, he still is. Country, I mean. He is so talented.  I can only see great things for this kid in the future.  If you missed that article from five years ago – you can click here to read it.

The Vicksburg, Miss., native is recording for Warner Brothers Nashville, and has a publishing deal with Warner/Chappell. His debut single, “I Met A Girl” is available now on iTunes.  He likes the older country songs, and a lot of us do, too. I keep hoping our younger artists, who put out a sound that makes it seem like they are living in the wrong decade, will help bring country music back to country music radio … we’re talking about real country!

WMMWilliam Michael made his opry debut recently. People are writing about it, saying  things like , “…only 22 years old…”. I remember how surprised I was to learn that he was only 17 when I first wrote about him.  I wouldn’t have thought back then that it was possible for him to get better – but, he has.  I don’t know how many songs he did at this Opry show, but we do know he sang ‘I Met A Girl,” and we can share that with all o you. It’s a great song, a great young artist, and we can’t wait to hear what all of you think of William Michael Morgan.

In addition to his web site, visit his Facebook page, and remember to “Like” it while you are there. Visit his YouTube page, he has a lot of great videos there. You can follow him on Twitter @wmmorgan.   If you aren’t already following Country’s Chatter on Twitter, we’d love to have you. You can find us @countryschatter.
