“Makenna & Brock are one of the best live acts I’ve seen in years!
They blew me away!”– Tom Barlow, Currentland Magazine

In celebration of their debut single, “Burnin’ The Night Down,” fast-rising Country duo, Makenna & Brock, recently took their hometown of Springfield, MO by storm in a blanketed media blitz of radio, print, Internet and television coverage, all leading up to a rare local show for their longtime fans in the region. Coupled with that, the duo began their outreach to introduce the world to their high-energy brand of Rock-edged Country with the release of their single in Europe.

The power couple of Makenna Sullinger and Brock Wade, who split their time between Nashville and Springfield, kicked the week off with a bang by garnering a strong add from 94.7 KTTS-FM. They were further bolstered by a feature story in the region’s top newspaper, the Springfield News-Leader, followed by an interview and performance at 105.1 Bob FM, and a two-song acoustic appearance on “Ozarks Live,” a popular television show on local CBS affiliate, KOLR 10. Makenna & Brock capped the week off with their band performing in concert at Cartoons Oyster Bar and The Big Room, where a packed house of fans and family partied until the wee hours of the morning.

Coinciding with their home base push, the duo’s music is gathering steam at radio across the U.S., introducing listeners to their undeniable musical and vocal talents. And with the release of “Burnin’ The Night Down” in Europe, they are now touching listeners on both sides of the Atlantic where they have been showcased with interviews and airplay, including a “Featured Artist of the Week” spotlight and interview at CMR Nashville, Europe’s top Country Internet radio station.

“We have received countless calls from our fans about how excited they are to be hearing us on the radio and seeing us in the newspaper!” states Wade. “It’s such an amazing feeling to know that some of our biggest supporters are in our own back yard! We’ve worked so hard for this moment so to know that we are getting so much support from our hometown and from Europe is an incredible feeling!”  says Sullinger.

In related news, Makenna & Brock recently performed the National Anthem for the St. Louis Rams, they are CMChat’s “Artists to Watch” for November, and have been featured in several Nashville industry trade publications, including Country Aircheck, All Access and MusicRow, online outlets including Lovin’ Lyrics Promotions and One Stop Country, along with coverage in multiple regional entertainment publications and newspapers.
