Guitar Cake 2Happy birthday to our first group of country artists who will be celebrating birthdays in January.  Three of these artists are no longer with us, but I’m sure we all remember Elvis Presley. and Earl Scruggs.  Our younger readers may not be as familiar with Jack Greene’s name.but I’m sure many of you remember some of his great songs. They included “there Goes My Everything,” “Wish I Didn’t Have  to Miss You,” and “back in the Arms of Love,” to mention just a few.

To our artists who are still with us – this great age we live in where everyone is connected through social media makes it pretty easy for us to find a Twitter or Facebook for these fine folks, and wish them all a very Happy Birthday! When possible, we will link their web site below (just click on their name). From the web site, you can usually find the information you need to find them on Facebook or Twitter.

And, how about we give you a little bit of Jack Greene, who would have been celebrating his birthday on January 7.

We hope all of you had a wonderful holiday season.  We will be back with more starting on Monday.  For now, we are going to finish out the holiday season with an afternoon of answering e-mail!
