tr 1If you are leaning back in your chair right now, shaking your head and saying to yourself, “I have no idea who Temecula Road is”.  Well, you aren’t alone.  I didn’t know either.  Until I received an e-mail directing me to a video of their cover of Carrie Underwood’s great song, “Heartbeat”.  And, the kids did an awesome job with it.

Temecula Road is made up of Dawson (16) and sisters Maddie (15) and Emma (16). They previously opened for Joe Nichols and this February and March they will be opening up for Jessie James Decker on her Lights Down Low tour.

The bio on their web site explains that the group is named after the city where they grew up, Tamecula, Calif. It also says they are ‘ready to bring their brand of country music form Southern California to the rest of the world”.  They may be claiming that as ‘their brand of country music,” but we just think it is good! In addition to the video we’ve posted here, I hope you will head over to YouTube, and watch “Wildest Dreams”  Let me know what you think of this song.  I fell in love with it.  But first, have a look at “Heartbeat”, a really great cover of Carrie Underwood’s song, by Dawson, Maddie and Emma.

The Huffington Post chose this trio as one of the top country artists to watch in 2016 – if HP hadn’t beat us to that, we would have done it for sure.  Country’s Chatter is very impressed with Temecula, and we expect to see big things coming their way in 2016.

In addition to the website, be sure to visit their Facebook page, and remember to “Like” it while you are there. When you visit their web site, you will also find (at the bottom) links to their Instagram and YouTube pages.  And, of course you can follow them on Twitter @temecularoad.  If you aren’t already following Country’s Chatter on Twitter, we’d love to have you. You will find us @countryschatter.

Leave a comment, shoot me an e-mail, let me know what you think of this group. Here at Country’s Chatter, we just can’t get enough of them!
