Thomas Rhett is the latest, but probably not the last, country singer to fall off the stage during a performance. I think Luke Bryan probably wins the prize for the most falls during a country concert. Many of his falls took him clear off the stage. But there have been a lot of artists who managed a stumble and recovery while performing. Carrie Underwood had a fall during her 20113 tour; Scotty McCreery slipped on a freshly waxed floor while he was stepping out on stage; Justin Moore had a graceful fall during a Missouri show – actually, he fell twice during that show. Taylor Swift, Jake Own, Keith Urban and many others have had on-stage mishaps in front of thousands of fans. You can find these falls all over YouTube, and of course we have them in many posts here on Country’s Chatter. However, Taste of Country has assembled a nice little group of on-stage falls that you can watch all in one place. You will find that article here.
Now, we all add Thomas Rhett’s very nicely done fall-from-the stage to the collection of country artist stumbles. As you will see in the video below – thomas didn’t miss a note as he fell from the stage, and continued to sing; while tapping his foot to the beat. Good job, Thomas.
