Sierra Black has been singing since she was six years old. I heard her for the first time a few weeks ago, when I was directed to her single, “Heart on Ice” on SoundCloud. You can also hear the song on her website. I wanted to tell all of you about this up-and-coming artist, and give you a little information where you can go to learn more about her and hear her music.
She is a 22 year old country artist from Las Vegas. She grew up around the music industry with her grandmother, Babette de Castro, as the youngest member in the de Castro Sisters. They had seven billboard hits and signed to major labels such as RCA, ABC, and Capitol. ‘’
As a start to her own career, she was chosen by Keith Urban to sing the duet “We Were Us” at the Route 91 Harvest Festival. She released her single “Heart on Ice” to country radio this month.
She is really great with posting regularly to her Facebook page, and already has more than 5,000 “Likes” there. (When you visit, be sure you click on that “like” button, too). Check out some of her videos on YouTube. She has one on there where she was actually competing in the NFR National Anthem contest in 2015. She did a great job with that really hard song! You will definitely want to follow her eon Twitter, too, @SierraBlackNews. If you aren’t already following Country’s Chatter on Twitter, we’d love to have you.
