Abbii ScottI recently received an e-mail with a very nice introduction to an up-and-coming country singer named Abbi Scott.  Since that e-mail arrived, I’ve been listening to Abbi sing. She has one of those infectious voices. The kind that you like when you first hear it, and you can’t seem to keep from wanting to hear more.  I’m already singing along to one of her songs, “Yesterdays Daisies”. You can hear that song, and “Flying” on Spotify.  There are a number of YouTube videos up with more songs from Abbi as well.

This talented young lady attends Lipscomb University, and is currently the CMA Edu Ambassador for the University.  In addition to her education, Abbi continues recording and performing, having opened for Luke Bryan, Cole Swindell, Dustin Lynch, Lee Brice and Jana Kramer. She has been singing for a few years, and people are definitely taking notice.  I for one am always glad to see another female getting some attention in the mostly-male world of country music.

I watched the ‘introduction video’, and in it Abbi mentioned that she loves antiques. An interest she and I share.  She also said she loves llamas.   I used to be a llama person, until I visited an alpaca farm.  They have got the cutest faces!  And, they don’t spit like llamas. Check out the alpacas, Abbi.   I hope the rest of you will take a minute and check out the introduction video by clicking here.  You are going to learn a lot about this Indiana girl, who loves antiques and still hasn’t quite gotten used to hearing her name on the radio.

The e-mail told us that Abbi is working on new music. That is something all of her fans will be looking forward to.  We’ll share that  news with you as soon as we learn more about any upcoming releases.

In addition to her web site, visit her Facebook page, and remember to “Like” it while you are there. Follow her on Twitter @AbbiScottMusic. If you aen’t already following Country’s Chatter on Twitter, we hope you will. You will find us @countryschatter.
