When I started listening to music, more than a few years ago, we got to listen to new songs on the radio.  If we could afford it, we then went out and purchased the record, and eventually we would buy the album that the song came from.  Many years after that, we would buy our new music an 8-track tape, or a cassette tape …. and now, the first place we get to hear a new song is often a music video.

How the times have changed.  How the music has changed!  And, way back then – when I first started listening to new music, the term “hash tag” probably didn’t exist. Now, it not only exists, we all all know what it is.  For Kevin MaC, the symbol is part of the title to his new song, and we like it. #Winning is appropriate for this song. We think the song is a winner. We still have enough summer left to get this one on the radio for everyone to enjoy.  In the meantime, you can have a look at the video, and listen to the song.

This is Kevin’s debut single, and is from his upcoming EP, “Six Pack”, which is currently in production.

We wanted to share this short bio with you. It’s a great introduction to this new country artist. It gives us a good look at how he got started, where he’s been, and pretty much where he’s headed.

Powering out of the coastline of Virginia Beach, Kevin MaC has stormed the music scene with his debut smash “#Winning.” Raised in King George, VA, MaC grew up playing bluegrass and cutting his teeth on legends like George Jones and Alan Jackson.

Right out of high school, Kevin was invited to bring his energetic and endearing personality to the airwaves at WFLS. His love of radio was trumped by his dreams of writing and playing music. Driven by these dreams, MaC headed to college in Virginia Beach and immersed himself in the beach music culture.

MaC quickly grew as a writer, and his energetic live shows caught the eyes and ears of locals, visitors and radio programmers who took an interest in his diverse musical style. Soon he was invited to open for the likes of Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts and The Band Perry. He also drew introductions to the camps of Timbaland, Pharrell Williams and Teddy Riley who were always there to give him the tools to create his own genre-defying musical style. ,Facebook,Twitter

MaC caught the attention of Dr. Luke on a bill with J-Cole, Ashanti and Juicy J – and signed a publishing deal with Luke’s Prescription Songs. He continued to tour across the country performing for an ever-growing fan base at festivals, theaters and colleges. In 2015, MaC crossed paths at another sold-out show with producer Keith Stegall (Zac Brown Band, Alan Jackson) who was drawn to MaC’s insight, storytelling, flair, talent and fresh direction. Stegall and MaC established a quick friendship and partnership as Stegall signed MaC to new his brand new label, Dreamlined Entertainment.

MaC’s debut EP “Six Pack” is in production now, with the debut single “#Winning” out now and it’s Troy Gleason (Pharrell, Missy Elliot, Sam Hunt) directed video imminent.
