The 50th annual CMA Award show was definitely a good one. If you missed any of it, I hope you caught the first eight minutes of tonight’s show (broadcast live on ABC-TV). With Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood joining forces in the role of emcee, viewers knew going in that they were in for a great show. That pair never disappoints.
This was without question one of the best (if not the best) CMA Awards shows we’ve seen in a very, very long time. If you are really a country music fan, you could not have asked for more. We saw artists from the past 50 years, we hear songs that have been a part of country music for as long as we can remember. We saw performances from George Strait and Alan Jackson, Chris Stapleton and Dwight Yoakam, and a wonderful performance by Garth and Trisha. Everyone was there! Great show! If you missed it – you missed a lot!
As viewers have grown to expect of this show, it was one performance after the next, with a dozen or so awards tossed in to make it even more interesting. If you missed any of the presentations – here are you winners.
