We all remember Terri for songs like “Better Things to Do,” “Poor Poor Pitiful Me,” “Girls Lie Too,” “Northern Girl,” and “I Just Wanna Be Mad,” But there is a lot more to Terri than just a handful of songs that come to mind immediately when we hear her name. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing her on stage, and discovered quickly that within seconds of her stepping onto the stage, she pulls you into the performance with her talent, personality and sense of humor. I’I’I never walked out of a Terri Clark show disappointed. I don’t believe anyone else has either.
With four million albums sold and 12 Top Ten singles under her belt, she is also a three-time JUNO Award winner and eight-time CCMA Entertainer of the Year. She has also been named Female Vocalist of the Year five times. She holds the honor of being the only Canadian female artist to be a member of the Grand Ole Opry. Terry now adds a new skill to her list of accomplishments, she recently honed her skills on the other side of the radio as part of NASH on America’s Morning Show. In April 2016 she took over as host of Country Gold, a four-hour Classic Country radio show that airs on more than 100 stations across the US. Terri’s is a dynamic, no-holds-barred live performer and one of the rare female country artists capable of throwing down some impressive guitar work. In September 2016 Terri kicked off the “Back to My Roots Solo Acoustic Tour.” The 40-city tour, started in Prince Edward Island and wrapped up in British Columbia in November. Fans experienced Terri’s catalog of hits in a stripped down setting and will heard the stories behind the songs.
