Most of us remember Holly Dunn best for her song, “Daddy’s Hands”. She also written songs for Cristy Lane, Louise Mandrell, and Joe Diffie. The singer, songwriter, Grand Ole Opry member died this morning in Albuquerque, New Mexico, reported WXMV-TV in Nashville. She was surrounded by family and friends, the television station report said.
Holly was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in March, and fought a courageous, though brief battle with the disease.
“My faith is my rock,” she told the Christian publication Hallels, last June. “Being a Christian, I know that no matter how this chapter ends, I will be OK. Either upright walking on this earth or safe in my Savior’s arms.”
Country’s Chatter joins others in sending our thoughts and prayers of sympathy to Holly’s family.https://www.countryschatter.com/2016/11/grand-ole-opry-member-holly-dunn-passes-away-at-age-59/NewsDaddy's Hands,Holly Dunn
