As Highway South Records artist David Shelby continues the march up the national charts with his “Back To Us” single, his music video for the uptempo cut World Premiered on The Boot, October 31, 2016 and can be viewed here. CMT is scheduled to begin airing it tomorrow.
The clip was shot in Shelby Township near Lake Michigan and Macomb Township outside David’s hometown of Detroit. Actors Phil Tocco and Kristen Beat are the love interests in the storyline. Beat is a sportscaster/reporter with stops at Fox Sports 1, CBS Sports, CW Network, FuelTV, ESPN Radio and others. The video was written, produced, directed and filmed by Michael Raffin of MARS Photo and Design, and it was shot using a Blackmagic Cinema Camera 4k.
The latest offering from David’s passion for singing and songwriting is his new Boy Wonder EP. The title cut is a nod to his young son. David co-wrote five of the six songs with the likes of Kenton Bryant, Mason Douglas, Steve Mitchell, Kyle Palermino and Greg Stryker and turned to Walker Hayes and Tony Haseldon for the final cut. He sought out acclaimed producer Russ Zavitson, whose name can be found on album credits for Alabama, Billy Ray Cyrus, Marty Stuart, The Kinleys and others, to helm the production and direction of his new album. They hunkered down in the Cowboy Arms Hotel and Recording Spa, former home and studio of Cowboy Jack Clement, for most of the last year.https://www.countryschatter.com/2016/11/new-music-from-highway-south-artist-david-shelby/New ArtistsNew ReleasesPress ReleaseBlackmagic Cinema,CBS Sports,David Shelby,ESPN Radio,FuelTV,Highway SAouth Records,Michael Raffin,The Boot
