Dan + Shay wrote The Shack soundtrack‘s first track “When I Prayed For You” with Jon Nite and Justin Ebach, inspired by the Lionsgate motion picture and Shay Mooney’s impending fatherhood. The duo performed the song on the TODAY show Wednesday morning in celebration of the film’s nationwide March 3 release.
