Grindstone Cowboy, the popular Eagleville, Tennessee coffee shop, restaurant and music venue, has announced it will operate a food booth during next month’s world-renowned Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration in Shelbyville, Tennessee. The award-winning establishment will graciously take over the space long occupied by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5019 as Grindstone Cowboy Express.

“We had already planned on having our Grindstone Cowboy food trailer at the Celebration, when we got the call offering the VFW’s food booth,” said the Campbells. “We hope Grindstone can become as much of a staple of the Celebration and the City of Shelbyville as the VFW was for many decades.”

“Our Veterans are excited for the Grindstone Cowboy to create new traditions and experiences for the fans of the Celebration,” said VFW 5019 Commander, Tommie Boleyn. “We look forward to growing and continuing the partnership now and in the future.”

Grindstone Cowboy opened in the heart of Eagleville in 2022 and quickly became a popular gathering place for locals and visitors alike. In its first year of operation the establishment won Ruthies Awards (Rutherford County) for “Best Coffee Shop” and “Best Music Venue.” Craig and Mindy have partnered with Beth and Mike Davis on both the Celebration location and the new Grindstone Cowboy coming to the historic Shelbyville square this fall. The Davises are Shelbyville residents and longtime supporters of the Tennessee Walking Horse industry and the Celebration.

“We’re excited to welcome Grindstone Cowboy into this new role,” Celebration CEO Warren Wells said in a press release about the change. “They’ve shown great energy and community spirit in everything they do, and we’re proud to continue growing this partnership as they expand their footprint in Shelbyville.”

The 87th Annual Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration will take place Aug. 20–31, 2025, in Shelbyville, Tennessee.

Known for hits like “Keep Them Kisses Comin,” the gold-certified “Outskirts of Heaven,” “Fish,” “Family Man,” “Outta My Head,” and more, Craig is currently on tour promoting his current radio single “Missing You.”
