Carrie joins many other country artists on that famous walkway, including Rascal Flatts, Roy Rogers, Alan Jackson, George Strait, Waylon Jennings, Garth Brooks, Crystal Gayle, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Dwight Yoakam, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill and many others.

“The Walk of Fame Selection Committee is pleased to announce our newest honorees to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The Committee looked carefully at each nominee and we feel that we have selected an eclectic group of talent that will appeal to the tastes of many fans around the world,” Vin Di Bona, chairman of the selection committee for 2017, said.  [Quote from ABC News]

The late Bernie Mac (comedian), and television personality, Steve Irwin, will also be recognized in the 2018 group of Walk of Fame honorees.  A few of the other honorees include Mary J. Blige, Harry Connick Jr., Simon Cowell, Mark Hamil, Jennifer Lawrence and Minnie Mouse.
