ACM New Male Vocalist Jon Pardi today announced the initial markets for CMT On Tour Presents Jon Pardi’s Lucky Tonight Tour. Kicking off in Birmingham, AL on October 12, the award-winning singer/songwriter will bring his critically-acclaimed classic country with a modern twist to venues across the United States for the multi-city run that includes Chicago, Fort Worth, Grand Rapids and more. Pre-sale tickets will be available starting tomorrow, Aug. 1 at 10 a.m. local time at www.jonpardi.com/tour, with tickets officially on sale this Friday. Additional tour dates to be announced in the coming weeks.

Pardi’s current hit single, “Heartache on the Dance Floor” is climbing Top 15 on the country radio airplay charts and it marks his fourth single to break the Top 15 on country radio. “Heartache on the Dance Floor” follows Pardi’s back-to-back No. 1 singles off his No. 1 album, California Sunrise. His first No.1 hit, the Platinum-selling “Head Over Boots” was followed by the three-week No. 1 smash “Dirt on My Boots.” CMT On Tour Presents “Jon Pardi’s Lucky Tonight Tour” is the third headlining tour for Pardi, who is quickly becoming a household name. In addition to the singer/songwriter’s ACM win earlier this year, he was also nominated for Breakthrough and Video of the Year categories at the 2017 CMT Music Awards. The California native has also toured with country music icons including Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw and Alan Jackson, and is currently on the road this summer with Dierks Bentley.

Accompanied by two rising country trios, Midland and Runaway June, “CMT On Tour” aims to shed light on new artists in the industry. “CMT On Tour” was created in 2002 and has played a role in launching up-and-comers towards superstar status. In the past, the phenomenon has featured numerous wildly successful artists, including Brett Eldredge, Thomas Rhett, Cole Swindell, Trace Adkins, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Randy Houser, Sam Hunt, Jamey Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Sugarland, Keith Urban, Jake Owen and Kip Moore.

ABOUT JON PARDI   Capitol Records Nashville’s Jon Pardi is one of country music’s fastest-rising new stars. Pardi’s sound is undeniably country, and his laid back, fun-loving approach towards life comes through in his music and his raucous live show. The California native’s charisma and authenticity strike a chord with country audiences and fellow artists alike. Pardi has toured with Luke Bryan, Eric Church and Zac Brown Band; he was hand-picked by country legend Alan Jackson to join him on his 25th anniversary tour; he is currently on the What the Hell World Tour with Dierks Bentley and Cole Swindell; and he was recently named this year’s ACM New Male Vocalist of the Year.

Pardi’s latest album, California Sunrise, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart and includes his very first No. 1 single, the Platinum-selling “Head Over Boots,” along with the three-week No. 1 smash “Dirt on My Boots,” and Pardi’s Top 15 current radio single “Heartache on the Dance Floor.” The album landed on multiple “Best of the Year” lists including those from Rolling Stone, Music Aficionado, The Tennessean and NASH Country Daily. California Sunrise is the follow-up to Pardi’s highly-praised debut, Write You A Song, which also landed on several “Best of” lists including the Los Angeles Times’ Mikael Wood’s all-genre Top 10 and both Rhapsody’s and Taste of Country’s Top 10 Country Albums. Additional hits include the Top 10 RIAA Gold-certified single “Up All Night,” “When I’ve Been Drinkin,’” “What I Can’t Put Down” and “Missin’ You Crazy.”

ABOUT MIDLAND:   Originally formed in Dripping Springs, Texas, lead vocalist Mark Wystrach fronts Midland’s rich sound, rounded out by lead guitarist Jess Carson and bass player Cameron Duddy. Rooted in tradition both in sound and style, the band initially garnered attention playing clubs in the Texas region. Already featured in Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly and Billboard, their self-titled debut EP is now available and features five tracks with songwriting credits from each member. Midland intentionally nods to the wild west with Country music reminiscent of the 1970s and 80s. Embodied in their lead single “Drinkin’ Problem,” Midland channel idols Dwight Yoakam and Willie Nelson, both legends who they previously opened for on the road. Directed by Cameron, Midland is nominated for a CMT Music Award for Group Video of the Year. Watch the video here: http://vevo.ly/j6UPkQ. They are currently in the studio working on their full-length release for Big Machine Records. For tour dates and more information visit Midland.com.

ABOUT RUNAWAY JUNE:   Lauded by Billboard as the “Next Hot Trend in Country Music” and likened to a ‘Dixie Chicks for a new generation,’ Runaway June’s organic three-part harmonies and ringing strings are sweeping the nation, leaving a mark on one infatuated audience after another with its “inescapable talent” (AXS.com). The BBR Music Group/ Wheelhouse Records act is comprised of the vocal stylings and musicianship of Naomi Cooke (lead vocals, guitar); Hannah Mulholland (vocals; mandolin); and Jennifer Wayne (vocals; guitar). The troubadour-hearted trio is receiving early rave critical notices from the likes of Billboard, Nash Country Daily, Perez Hilton, Rolling Stone Country, Sounds Like Nashville, The Morning Hangover, WhiskeyRiff and more for its brand of organic and melodic country music. With Runaway June’s debut single “Lipstick,” the trio made history becoming the first all-female trio in over a decade to earn a Top 30 single on both the Mediabase Country chart and Billboard Country Airplay chart.
