On Saturday, Sept. 2, country singers Scotty McCreery and Darius Rucker and their friends descended upon Charleston, South Carolina to watch the season opening North Carolina State vs. University of South Carolina football game at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, SC. The two singers had been making plans to watch this game together for more than a year. McCreery was on hand to support his beloved NC State Wolfpack while Rucker was rooting for the South Carolina Gamecocks. A bet was made between the two entertainers before the game began – whoever’s team lost would take the winner and two friends to Pebble Beach for a day of golf. When the game was over the Gamecocks beat the Wolfpack with a score of 35-28. So when will McCreery be taking Rucker to Pebble Beach? Stay tuned.
