WSMV news is reporting that District Attorney Ben Selecman, husband of Alan Jackson’s daughterr, Mattie, died on Sept. 13, as the result of severe traumatic head injuries he received in a fall.
The 28 year old died in Jupiter, Fla. Mattie and Ben were married in October, 2017, in Franklin, Tenn.
The Davidson County District Attorney’s Office issued the following statement:
“District Attorney Glenn Funk said the DA’s Office is thankful for every day that Ben had the opportunity to serve the people of Davidson County. Our prayers are with Ben’s family. He will be truly missed”.
