For the second time in three years, country music star Colt Ford was the overall winner in this week’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Million Dollar Hole-in-One For Charity event presented by Facebook, earning $100,000 for his designated charity, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®. Ford, a former tour professional, captured closest to the hole yesterday in the finals, hitting the ball to 13 feet, 4 inches at the iconic Pebble Beach Golf Links in Monterey, California. Two years ago, Ford hit a shot to 12 inches in the final.

In addition, as part of the four-man Team (Clint) Eastwood 5th Annual Clint Eastwood-Bill Murray Cup 3M Celebrity Challenge, Ford won $1,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® when Team Eastwood secured the coveted cup earning $100,000 for player charities of choice and $1,000 for all other charities represented.

“I have been so blessed to get to do some amazing things in my life,” commented Ford. “Yesterday was one of those amazing days, getting to give over $100,000 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® is something I will never forget.”

The Million Dollar Hole-in-One for Charity event showcased 26 celebrity entertainers and pro sports legends playing in this week’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, each taking a shot at winning $1 million for an ace on the 17th hole at Pebble Beach Golf Links.

The unique competition is a favorite of celebrity golfers played on the eve of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, a $7.6 million purse PGA TOUR event played over Pebble Beach Golf Links, Spyglass Hill Golf Course and Monterey Peninsula Country Club Shore Course for three rounds, with the final round Sunday at Pebble Beach.

Ford, an established entertainer and hit songwriter, has been in the studio recording his next album scheduled for release in 2019. He has also recently completed a new music video with reality star Ben Higgins (the Bachelor) for his new song, “How You Lose A Woman.”
