Long-time Country’s Chatter readers are very familiar with the name Joe Lasher. Over the past five years, we have posted nearly a dozen articles about this Nashville singer-songwriter. He is from Weaverville, N.C.,, near Asheville, N.C., and has been performing at local fairs, shows, and other events since he was a teenager. We have had the pleasure of attending many of his shows.
Joe draws his inspiration from icons such as Rodney Atkins, Eric Church, Jon Bon Jovi, and Brian Adams, combining traditional country with gospel, rock, and heavy metal to create a sound that is uniquely his own.
His new single and video “Messed Up” is about the pain and hurt after a bad breakup. Joe’s fiancée Kaitlyn plays his love interest in the video, and even though the couple breaks up in the clip the two are still happily together in real life.
