This Saturday, the world famous Ernest Tubb Midnite Jamboree upholds the legacy of the show’s namesake by carrying-on Country Music Hall of Famer, Ernest Tubb’s kind-hearted generosity. A special all-star broadcast will raise donations for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The event will team singer/songwriter Bobby Marquez’s annual Country With Heart benefit with the legendary show.

Fans can take part at 2pm central time on Saturday, June 6, 2020, on the Ernest Tubb Record Shops Facebook page, www.facebook.com/ernesttubbrecordshops, with a live stream from the Texas Troubadour Theatre in Nashville, Tennessee. And the 73-year tradition continues with a broadcast the same evening at 12 midnight central time on 650 AM WSM and wsmonline.com.

Bobby Marquez shares, “No matter what curve ball life throws us, the Midnite Jamboree has been steadfast in supporting country music and charitable efforts. I am really proud to partner with the Ernest Tubb Record Shop family on this show. I have toured the hospital and witnessed the miracles of St. Jude firsthand. I think everyone will be overwhelmed with the talent helping us this year to raise donations so they can keep finding cures.”

Country With Heart was founded by Marquez in 2015. The show is scheduled each year during CMA Fest week in Nashville for country music fans. Pandemic concerns led to the cancellation of the festival this year. But the need is still great for patients with childhood cancer and ongoing research at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. So, the show will go on, but a little differently this year.

CDC guidelines have set limits on gatherings, so there will be no live audience and no admission. However, there will be a link to make donations to St. Jude. And there will be a superstar lineup. Entertainers scheduled to perform include, multi-million selling country icon

Clint Black, Grand Ole Opry stars John Conlee and Mark Wills, ACM and CMA award winner Wade Hayes, Grammy nominated hit singer/songwriter Sylvia and more.

“We hope everyone will tune-in online and on the radio. We will miss the conversations and hugs this year, but we are still going to have a blast and help out some wonderful families at St. Jude while we are at it,” states Bobby Marquez.

Fans can help spread the news by using the hashtags #CountryWithHeart and #SingforStJude.
