Country artist, Paul Bogart, and his wife, Tanya, welcomed their first baby daughter into the world late last week! Gentry Lynn Bogart joins her two big brothers, Jett and Ace, as the newest member of the Bogart clan. She was born in Tulsa, Okla. on January 7 at 6:11pm weighing in at 6 lbs. 7 oz. and 20 in. long.

“What an amazing day! I am so thankful God has made me the daddy of a precious little girl. Getting to witness the miracle of my wife giving birth to my daughter is such a gift. The weight of this day is life changing and I pray that Gentry Lynn will know how proud I am of her and how much she is loved today and always.,” says Bogart

Bogart recently released a new album, Won’t Have Far To Go. Exploring themes of love, marriage, children and hard work all while taking time to pause to reflect on a life well lived, the album will leave listeners with the feeling that they have been along for the ride the entire time. Bogart’s smooth vocals shine throughout the album as he seamlessly blends his take on beloved classics, “Ain’t No Sunshine” by Bill Withers and “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” by U2, with his original songs. Listen to Won’t Have Far To Go here. The album was produced by renowned artist, songwriter and producer Trent Willmon.

“The most obvious word to use to describe the album is ‘honest;’ this is pure and simple traditional country music, easy on the ears and a pleasure to enjoy.” – Country Music People

“Anyone who loves George Strait will like Bogart’s music: his gentle singing, his reserved manner in his performances, the music and singing in the foreground, are what distinguish him. Here – like back then with Strait, equestrian sport and country music meet. It couldn’t be better!” – Country.de

“If this is a sign the backlash is kicking in, bring it on. Another spin through town for new traditionalists, this cowboy’s nostalgia only seems to go back as far as George Strait, but that’s ok, isn’t it? Real country like the kind commenters on YouTube keep saying they want to hear, betcha everyone from Ian Tyson to Garth Brooks could/would put a stamp of approval on this disc. Well done.” – Midwest Record

“It’s a likeable string of pick-up lines with a jaunty country production. Warm and welcoming.” – Robert K. Oermann, Music Row on “I’m Just Sayin'”

“The acoustic guitar underpinnings and swelling steel guitar, combined with Bogart’s easy, smooth vocal delivery, offer up shades of a young George Strait as Bogart delivers an understated, perfectly-drawn performance, propelled by an arrangement that is equally well-crafted.” – Taste of Country on “When She Gets A Hold on You”

The Boot calls “Never Grow Out of It” a “nostalgic anthem for small town USA” writing, “inspired by a ‘red rust Chevy truck’ that Bogart’s dad used to teach him to drive as a teen, ‘Never Grow Out of It’ uses that metaphor to speak for Bogart’s devotion to his small town and the love of his life.”

About Paul Bogart
Though his songs are fresh and he himself is young, Paul Bogart is an old soul with a knack for capturing time-honored traditions and summing up classic sentiments in catchy, commercially-viable songs. Exuding sincerity and a rare, down-to-earth charm, he is, simply put, the epitome of traditional country music. After nearly a decade of writing, playing and touring, Bogart has begun pulling in big numbers in every arena, literally. Whether it’s the main stage at the AQHA World Championships with thousands in attendance or the social media scene with over 3.5 million fans reached through all social video platforms, led by “The Cowboy Way” and “Cowboy Ride” with over 2.6 million views, Bogart’s songs have connected with America’s Heartland in a real, tangible way that modern country has perhaps missed. Taste of Country called his 2019 single “When the Cowboys Are Gone” “nothing but authentic.” Often compared to Chris LeDoux and George Strait, the modern-cowboy has written songs for Porter Wagoner, Wade Hayes, Roger Creager, Kevin Fowler and, most recently, one of only two outside cuts on the great songwriter Red Steagall’s new record Hats Off To The Cowboy.
