Big Loud Records’ HARDY is ready to take his Country swagger to ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, as he makes his late-night debut on November 8 at 11:35 p.m./10:35 p.m. CT.
The self-proclaimed redneck will perform current chart-rising GOLD single “GIVE HEAVEN SOME HELL,” a towering send-off to a hell-raising friend that became the most-added single of the week at Country radio when it launched earlier this year. The track is from HARDY’s critically acclaimed debut album A ROCK, which arrived in 2020. The Mississippi native’s latest project is HIXTAPE: Vol. 2, the second iteration of HARDY’s HIXTAPE brand, which launched its first “infectious” (Billboard) mixtape in September 2019. That project is home to HARDY’s first #1 song as an artist, the Lauren Alaina and Devin Dawson-assisted PLATINUM “ONE BEER.”
On the heels of the success of his recent endeavors, HARDY earned his first-ever CMA Awards nomination as an artist with a nod for New Artist of the Year at the 2021 ceremony airing live from Nashville, TN, on November 10 on ABC. HARDY previously scored a nomination as a songwriter for Blake Shelton’s 4X PLATINUM hit “God’s Country,” which was up for CMA Song of the Year in 2019.
The New Artist of the Year nod is just the latest achievement for HARDY, who has been racking up accolades since he scored his first publishing deal, penning hits for artists like Florida Georgia Line, Morgan Wallen, Cole Swindell and more while beginning to release music of his own. With a sound borne out of HARDY’s dual love for Country music and Classic Rock, his star has only continued to rise.
Featured on Dierks Bentley’s latest single “Beers On Me” with BRELAND, HARDY is currently on the road with Jason Aldean’s BACK IN THE SADDLE TOUR 2021, which is set to wrap on October 30 in Tampa, FL.
ABOUT HARDY: Big Loud Records’ booming upstart HARDY broke new ground in 2020 with acclaimed debut A ROCK, “an album that owes as much to AC/DC as George Jones” and “one of the most self-assured full-length debut albums in years” (Billboard). The LP is a part of his growing catalogue that includes countrified mixtapes HIXTAPE: Vol. 1 (2019) and the now-unfolding Vol. 2 (2021) plus career-launching EPs THIS OLE BOY and WHERE TO FIND ME. Current chart-rising GOLD single “GIVE HEAVEN SOME HELL” is a hard-charged tribute to a fallen friend that made a statement as the most-added single of the week at Country radio upon launch. He is also featured on Dierks Bentley’s latest single, “Beers On Me,” with BRELAND. Nominated for 2021 CMA Awards New Artist of the Year and recognized as one of CRS’ 2021 New Faces of Country Music, a CMA Triple Play award recipient and a Vevo DSCVR artist, the pride of Philadelphia, MS has earned his reputation as “Nashville’s most clever new redneck songwriter” (Rolling Stone). The 2020 AIMP Songwriter of the Year has co-penned NINE #1 singles since 2018: FGL’s 2X PLATINUM “Simple,” Chris Lane’s 2X PLATINUM “I Don’t Know About You,” Blake Shelton’s 4X PLATINUM “God’s Country,” Morgan Wallen’s 3X PLATINUM “Up Down” and PLATINUM “More Than My Hometown,” Jameson Rodgers’ PLATINUM “Some Girls,” LOCASH’s GOLD “One Big Country Song,” Cole Swindell’s GOLD “Single Saturday Night” and his own first-ever #1, PLATINUM “ONE BEER.” Serving as direct support on Jason Aldean’s BACK IN THE SADDLE TOUR 2021 this summer, HARDY has also shared the stage with FGL, Chris Lane, Thomas Rhett, Cole Swindell and more.https://www.countryschatter.com/2021/11/tune-in-hardy-to-make-late-night-debut-on-abcs-jimmy-kimmel-live-nov-8/Press ReleaseTours"Some Girls",A Rock, blake shelton,Hardy,Jameson Rodgers,Jason Aldean,Jimmy Kimmel Live!,LoCash,Twitter
