If you all haven’t heard “Better Me” by Steven Cade yet – it’s time you do.  I spent a very long time today listening to Steven’s music.  I liked what I heard.  I liked it a lot, and I really wanted to share my thoughts and Steven’s music, with all of our readers.

Steven’s latest release is “Better Me”.  Before I tell you about his music, I want to tell you a little about this singer/songwriter.

He was born in Houston.  His bio refers to him as a ‘country pop’ artist.  The About section on his website says “He infuses contemporary pop elements into country-influenced songs, creating a unique slant on traditional country music.” [Source]   Stephen has co-written with some of Nashville’s best writers, and has won a number of awards in country music.  In addition to being an award-winning singer/songwriter, Steven is a member of the Country Music Association, Academy of Country Music, and GRAMMY Recording Academy.

Touring nationally, Steven has been featured at shows with Frankie Ballard, Eric Church, Billy Currington, Darius Rucker, Carrie Underwood, and many others.  I hope you will visit his website, and learn more about this very talented artist.

I wanted to tell you about “Better Me”, but  I really can’t do that without telling you about every Steven Cade song I heard. Each song from “Pinky Promise” to “Cool in California” to “What I Really Wanted to Say” made me wonder why I haven’t heard this guy on country radio.

“Malibu Cadillac” is fun. It’s summer. It’s just good. I think the term I’ve heard used in the past was ‘radio ready’ … and, that is the term that best describes the music from Steven Cade. If I were a program director at a major country radio station, my only problem would be trying to decide which of these songs I should get on the air.

I really hope you will all go to Spotify, pull up his albums “What I Really Wanted to Say”, and “On My Way To You”. Listen to every album and every song.  Fast, slow, somewhere in the middle … each one of them with great lyrics, great melody, great vocals from Steven, and a story to tell.

I know I didn’t do a great job of telling you about “Better Me”. But, I have a feeling when you go listen to it, you are going to agree with me.  It is a great song.  And, so is everything else you are going to hear form Steven when you head over to Spotify.

In addition to his website, you can keep up with Steven by visiting his Facebook page,  Be sure to visit all of his social media sites, links are listed on  his website.
