Reigning American Idol winner and “2022 Artist to Watch” (Country Now, Country Swag, Music Mayhem Magazine, Sounds Like Nashville) Chayce Beckham today releases his highly anticipated debut EP, Doin’ It Right, which follows his supercharged duet with label-mate Lindsay Ell, “Can’t Do Without Me,” that is currently climbing the Country radio charts. With masterful storytelling weaved together by small town charm and back-porch philosophies, Doin’ It Right is Beckham’s first project to release since winning the competition show. The six-pack of songs overflows with strong, energetic choruses and Chayce’s rough, powerhouse vocals, divulging the secrets behind “doin’ life right.” Listen now HERE.
Celebrating the release, Beckham will return to the American Idol stage on ABC this Sunday, April 17 at 8/7c for a powerhouse performance of the title track “Doin’ It Right.”
“Since my season on American Idol, I’ve been busy in Nashville writing songs and touring,” says Beckham. “I tested these songs in front of live audiences last year, and now I’m so excited to have them recorded and ready for you to listen to. I’m really proud of these songs, and I believe they not only tell my story, but they tell stories relatable to everyone going through everyday life.”
The project features the previously released southern comfort track “Tell Me Twice” that E! News praised as “a catchy, easy-listening track that will make you feel like ’90s Country is back” and Billboard lauded as “a catchy, radio-ready track.”
With Chayce’s Beckham’s “gravelly, pristine voice” (Billboard) front and center, the EP’s title track boasts what everyone should have on their bucket list, while “Where The River Goes” gloats about taking in a million dollar view— but not the kind from a high-rise condo.
A sampling of heartbreak, high energy, downhome grooves and a hint of spice, the EP shows the range of its creator. “Talk To Me” taps into Beckham’s sensual side while “Love To Burn” dives into the rush and intoxication of being in love. On the other side of the spectrum, Beckham explores the heaviness of love gone wrong with “I’ll Take The Bar,” which finds an ex-couple dividing the town, their friends and their futures.
The “rugged, Country crooner” (USA Today) co-wrote four of the six tracks, proving “Beckham is the real deal” (Country Swag) and has an innate talent for crafting Country music, as he was working as a forklift operator just one year ago.
Beckham is currently on tour with Jimmie Allen, headlining his own shows across the country and will hit the road with Luke Combs this fall.

ABOUT CHAYCE BECKHAM: Chayce Beckham is one of the most buzzed about newcomers in Country music today, having won over millions of hearts while competing on Season 19 of ABC’s American Idol. From the first audition, superstar Katy Perry highlighted how Chayce’s gravely vocals sound like “the heart of America.” Armed with a determination to make something of himself and the unwavering support of his family, Chayce auditioned for the competition show after undergoing a particularly difficult year to ultimately become the first-ever show winner to claim the title with an original song—kickstarting his journey to fulfilling his lifelong dream of becoming a singer, songwriter, and entertainer. With his family, his hometown of Apple Valley and now America behind him, the mellow 25-year-old with an alluring rasp released his debut song, “23.” The song is a semi-autobiographical account of his struggles with alcohol and of the lows it can take on a person. The song quickly shot to the top of both the iTunes Country and All Genre charts and numerous viral charts, racking up more than 85 million on-demand streams (and counting). Now signed to 19 Recordings in partnership with BBR Music Group/Wheelhouse Records and finding his home in Nashville, Chayce’s debut radio single, “Can’t Do Without Me,” a supercharged duet with label-mate Lindsay Ell, is currently climbing the Country radio charts. Ready to share his signature sound with his legions of fans, the “rugged, Country crooner” (USA Today) just released his debut EP, Doin’ It Right, which features the smooth, southern comfort track “Tell Me Twice” that E! News praised as “a catchy, easy-listening track that will make you feel like ’90s Country is back” and Billboard lauded as “a catchy, radio-ready track.” For more information, visit: www.chaycebeckham.com.https://www.countryschatter.com/2022/04/reigning-american-idol-winner-chayce-beckham-releases-hotly-aniticipated-debut-ep-doin-it-right/New ReleasesPress Release"Can't Do It Without Me,"Tell Me Twice",Billboard,Chayce Beckham,Country Swag,Doin' It Right,E! news
