‘The Cowboy Way’ Singer To Share Stage with Biggest Names in Western Music During Annual Awards and Events Week, November in New Mexico

Singer/songwriter Bobby Marquez is proud to perform at this year’s International Western Music Association Convention in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The prestigious music slots are selected by an official committee. This year, Marquez will entertain on the Friday Night Western Opry at 7pm on November 11th and he will also put on a special showcase, Saturday afternoon, November 12th, at 3:30pm, prior to the awards ceremony that evening.

This will all take place at Hotel Albuquerque. The IWMA convention is a five-day event filled with sought-after musical performances, workshops and networking opportunities with some of the top names and most legendary acts in western music. The mission is to uphold the western lifestyle and this roots music.

“I have been working towards this for a long time. I can’t tell you how excited I am to be included in this arena. Western music is all about storytelling. This style tests your skills as a writer, singer and guitar player…as a performer period. It is a real honor to be in this group,” states Marquez.

As a matter of fact, IWMA Hall of Fame star Rex Allen Jr. produced some tracks, including the title track of Bobby Marquez’s award-winning album, “The Cowboy Way.”

And Bobby Marquez has lived the western lifestyle, growing up in the small Texas town of Freer, working on a ranch and riding horses. His in-laws bred, showed and trained quarter horses besides competing in rodeo. “It is a rich heritage that comes with such integrity,” expresses Bobby Marquez.

Bobby Marquez is currently touring and will host a preview of the wonderful acoustic, western music coming to the IWMA Convention on July 13, 2022 at the world famous Bluebird Cafe. More information on this event will be coming soon.
