several years ago (many) you were appearing at John Asquagas (sp) Nugget in Sparks ,Nevada. My husband and I were playing in a slot tournament at the time so we had name tags . We were waiting for the elevator so we could go down to the casino. When the doors of the elevator opened, there was one couple . We stepped in as you said, “Tony White” get in this elevator!” Then as you extended your hand for a hand shake, you said
“T G Shephed, Tony. Tony was blind so I guided his hand out to meet yours. At the same time I asked “T G Shepherd what are you doing in this elevator with us common folks?” you replied, ” I’m just a common country
boy”! Everytime I see your name on the screen in my car I say “T G Shepherd what are you doing is this elevator with us common folk” and then tell this very special memory to my friends in the car. We also discussed the time you appeared in the night club in Medford Oregon. Thanks for the memories!!
