Singer and songwriter Kate Watson performed at the TCMA Awards this Sunday alongside many notable Texas Country recording artists including Roger Creager, McBride and the Ride, Kin Faux, and many more. She was named a top five finalist in the Emerging Artist category and was the only female nominee. She also rocked the stage out as one out of the two females that had the honor of performing at Billy Bob’s Texas at the Fort Worth Stockyard for one of the largest and most influential organizations for Texas Country Music.

Kate is no stranger to the Texas Country Music Scene as she frequently performs in her hometown cowboy church alongside her father. She recently released her newest single, “Remedy” as well as the accompanying official music video. She partnered with the Hope For Widows Foundation at the release party showcasing the music video release that follows the story of a military family losing a loved one in combat overseas. She was amongst many notable artists that were nominated this year including Zach Bryan, Aaron Watson, Kaitlin Butts and many more Texas Country recording artists.

A true Texas girl, Kate Watson brings the energy and hometown heart with her every time she hits the stage. Her roots are in the church, growing up singing alongside her father at Lone Star Cowboy Church in Montgomery, Texas, the largest cowboy church in the world. This was the place where country recording artist Parker McCullum first heard Kate sing, describing her as “the real deal.” She is a rising star on the country music scene since being a former contestant on the 2019 American Idol season as well as playing a multitude of shows across Texas and beyond.
