If you southern fried an Eagles track, threw in some Nashville Hot Sauce and added a dash of Classic Rock à la Boston, you’d get something like “Looking”. The latest track from Rick Monroe and The Hitmen talks about the search for someone who compliments you and will reciprocate the same love you are willing to give.

Malcolm Springer (Multi Platinum Producer) says, “This song is a GD masterpiece and f#%k anyone who says it’s not. And you can quote me on that.”

Lee Turner (Darius Rucker Band) adds, “Looking is an awesome “look” into something we all want. It’s a cool song with choruses that open up and soar. I was wicked intense with the B3 parts holding nothing back and feeling every moment.” He enthusiastically adds, “I played every (expletive) key!”

Scott Bartlett (Saving Abel) recently did an acoustic tour with Monroe and hitman member Alan Beeler. “Looking” was one of the songs they covered from the RMHM catalog. Bartlett says, “It’s as if the instrumentation of the Allman Brothers or Lynyrd Skynyrd met the song writing of Tom Petty and the Eagles. I love this track!”

Looking is one of those songs that Alan and I had separate pieces of ideas for that fell together perfectly. It really just found itself and it’s something that we both feel like almost everyone can relate to.” Monroe offers about the overall creation of the piece.
