Wheelhouse Records/BMG’s LOCASH – Preston Brust and Chris Lucas – spills it all in the “I Love This Life Podcast” launching today (6/26) on streaming platforms and LOCASH’s YouTube channel. LISTEN HERE.
Hosted by Brust and Lucas, alongside their friend J.R. Jaus of 99.5 QYK, “Episode 1: If You’re Happy And You Know It, Clap Your Hand” sets the tone for revealing all the backstage secrets that they’ve kept throughout their 21-year friendship. Taking it back to their “wild” days at the Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville, TN, where they performed and taught line dancing, Brust and Lucas turn the mics on each other as they expose behind-the-scenes stories of grinding off-and-on the road. From getting to gigs in a stolen van and being stiffed out of their cut, to bizarre crowd interactions that they’ll never forget, LOCASH unleashes laugh-out-loud stories that fans won’t want to miss.
The PLATINUM-selling duo promises a no-holds-barred approach to the “I Love This Life Podcast.” Rolling with no planned topics, the conversations are real, raw, and unfiltered with one main message – LOCASH loves this life. From music to family, the “LOCASH” way-of-life is fun, messy, rewarding, challenging, and everything in between. Special guests from all walks of life will also pop up for an added perspective.
Ready to make some noise with major upcoming appearances, LOCASH has a jam-packed schedule beginning tonight (6/26) as Presenters for the 2023 NHL Awards™. Hosted by Country music superstar Dierks Bentley, the celebration of the National Hockey League’s best regular-season performances will broadcast live at 7 p.m. CT / 8 p.m. ET from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on TNT in the U.S., and Sportsnet and TVA Sports in Canada. Returning to the Grand Ole Opry on Friday (6/30) for a red-white-and-blue tribute of their latest release “Three Favorite Colors” ahead of Independence Day, LOCASH will go full-throttle Saturday (7/1), playing the first-ever Monster Jam World Finals® halftime performance, as the marquee event races into Nashville for the first time for Monster Jam World Finals® XXII at Nissan Stadium.
Continuing to bring the heat on July 4, LOCASH will join a sizzling lineup of musical talent performing with the Boston Pops and conductor Keith Lockhart at the annual Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular on the Hatch Shell on the Charles River Esplanade in Boston, MA. Spotlighting award-winning R&B/Soul group En Vogue (featuring current members Cindy Herron, Terry Ellis, and Rhona Bennett) as headliners, plus Mandy Gonzalez and other well-known Broadway guest performers, in addition to the U.S. Army Field Band and Soldiers’ Chorus, the concert will be broadcast live 8-11 p.m. ET on Bloomberg TV and Radio, as well as locally on WHDH-TV Channel 7 (click here for additional tune-in details including how to livestream the concert on Bloomberg Online).
