We are longtime fans of Rick Monroe and The Hitmen.  He’s put out some great music.  “One More Day” is among the best.  I think Rick is one of those artists who is just not getting the attention he so richly deserves.  Along with a talented group of musicians, Rick Monroe and the Hitmen need to be played on country radio. I’ve been listening to “One More Day” repeatedly for the past hour.  It’s an amazing song, that will take you on a journey through your life, and bring up memories that haven’t stirred in years.

“One More Day” was produced by Peter Keys.  Many of our country music fans will remember Peter was the pianist for the legendary group, Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Today we received the following press release.  I know everyone who loves music has used it to help through struggles, and to help us heal.  This song does that.  When you listen, pay attention to the lyrics.  It’s a story that everyone of us will understand and have probably gone through ourselves.   “…time just has a way of changing everything, and making giants fall”.  I think Rick Monroe was talking to me.

The video is so well done – it’s a lyric video, full of photos.  You get to the end of that video, and you feel like fit right into the family.  It’s easy to put yourself in those photos, and remember back to when you and your mom, you and your sister, you and your dad, you and your friends … were all in that same kind of places.  Watch the video, listen to the lyrics, and let us know what you think.  Then call your local radio station, and just say, “He y’all, listen to this!”

Here is the press release.
