Multi-CCMA award-winning country artist Brett Kissel has released the third of four albums from his ambitious musical endeavor, “The Compass Project,” titled West Album. With its guitar melodies and timeless country flair, the album aims to embody Kissel’s deepest musical and thematic passions – the rich tradition of country and Western music. Kissel commented on the release of his highly-anticipated album, saying, “This ‘West Album’ of ‘The Compass Project’ is very special as it’s rooted in my truest musical love: traditional country and western music!  The tales and topics have been the lifeblood of the genre since the beginning – love, loss, the land, kinship, hardship, and ultimately perseverance.  In sound and theme, I’ve tried to follow the horse trails blazed by the all-time greats – and in a way, it’s my tribute to them.”

Kissel previously released two songs from the album, “Missin’ You In San Antone” and “Deer Blind,” which gave fans a taste of what they could expect from the now-released album. The tracks highlight the “super-country” album as well as Kissel’s immeasurable talent as a singer and songwriter.

The final installment of “The Compass Project,” North Album, is expected to be released in the coming weeks and will contain Kissel’s greatest hits performed live, showcasing his passion for performing and entertaining.
