Those of you who have been reading Country’s Chatter since it started back in 2008, know that no income is generated from this website. I do not charge to post reviews or get paid to do interviews with artists.  I do this because I love sharing country music news with all of our loyal readers. Those who check this site every day are in very good company.  Artists, Promoters, Labels, and PR groups read right along with you.

I love the readers, and while we have never asked for anything in the past, I am asking now.  When something bad happens to someone you have known since the day she was born, you want to do whatever you can to help.  The girl is named Beth.  Her husband Craig had surgery to remove a tumor from his brain.  It was cancer – Geoplastoma.

Beth has a cousin named Jen (a friend I have also known for more than 40 years).  Jen has set up a Go Fund Me to help Craig and Beth with medical expenses.  Here is what Jen wrote on that page:

“Hi, my name is Jennifer White, I am creating this fund raiser for my cousin, her husband was just diagnosed with cancer, has already had brain surgery and been diagnosed with Geoblastoma (the worst kind) Please read my long post that I need prayers for and shared please, almost everybody in Erwin knows Brandon and Ruthie Haun and their daughter Beth. She played softball for Unicoi County High School and graduated in 2003….unfortunately, her husband had a seizure the other night, stopped breathing and long story short, he has a brain tumor, they did surgery and got 95% but we all know how devious cancer is and how fast it can spread, physical therapy came in today and told her all the modifications that are gonna have to be done to accommodate in their home while Craig’s recovering in a wheel chair and throughout his recovery. They are going to need safety floors, hand rails and a larger bathroom remodel so Beth can safely assist him. We all know how expensive it can be and she’s working full time and more than spending every free minute by Craig’s side to try to make this happen. Friends, she’s exhausted and desperately needs our help for a Christmas miracle…..let’s try to take away some of this burden off her so she can spend her time loving and helping her sweet husband get well. She is beside herself, I have never seen a love like theirs and I would like all of us Erwin friends and the surrounding areas/everyone that could help to pull together as a community and help out one of our own in their desperate time of need, it doesn’t matter how much you send every little bit matters. They are loving Christians that know God is in control so let’s show them how much love we can send and help them raise money for Christmas so Craig can come home as soon as possible…..and if you can’t donate please pray and share, share, share, thank you in advance!”
If anyone reading this can spare anything, it will help them tremendously.  Whether you can give or not, share this article and the Go Fund Me link.  And keep Craig and Beth in your prayers.  God is great, he does work miracles.
