Alan Jackson’s Last Call: One More for the Road Tour is gearing up for the first concert on the country music superstar’s itinerary with the announcement that multi-platinum hitmaker Chris Young will be Jackson’s special guest at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts on Friday, August 2.
“Some of the best times are had right at last call, and this is one last call that you don’t want to miss!” Jackson stated last month when announcing his return to the road, and Young’s participation is further proof of that.
With a list of accomplishments that includes membership in the Grand Ole Opry, over 5 billion on-demand steams, 25 RIAA certified projects and numerous ACM, CMA and Grammy nominations, Young ranks among Billboard’s top country artists of the decade. Named “one of his era’s finest traditionalists” by the Associated Press, Young’s concert performances are hit-packed sets that highlight his thirteen Number-1 singles and more, including the Top-10 and climbing title track from his current album, Young Love and Saturday Nights.
The two artists have a well-established appreciation for each other. Young provided direct support as part of a multi-artist lineup Jackson organized in 2021 for a benefit concert that raised millions for relief efforts after Jackson’s Georgia hometown was hit by an EF-4 tornado. Jackson lent his voice to Young’s 2016 recording of the Christmas song “There’s a New Kid in Town,” which Jackson had recorded in the past as a duet with Keith Whitley.
Special guests for other dates on Jackson’s Last Call: One More for the Road Tour will be announced in coming weeks.
Jackson’s Last Call: One More for the Road Tour will find the three-time CMA Entertainer of the Year thrilling audiences as fans relive hits like “Chattahoochee” and “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere” night-after-night. His TD Garden show in Boston – like all other stops on the tour – will mark the last time he’ll ever perform his more-than-30 years of hits in that city, offering one final chance for people to see and hear the iconic singer-songwriter perform his best-loved songs in concert.
Also joining Jackson’s concert lineup is James Carothers, a popular singer-songwriter who got his start at AJ’s Good Time Bar, the multi-level honky-tonk Jackson owns and operates in Nashville.
Tickets and tour information for Alan Jackson’s Last Call: One More for the Road Tour are available at alanjackson.com. VIP experiences are available. A dollar from every ticket sold for the Last Call: One More for the Road Tour will be donated to the CMT Research Foundation, a 501(c)(3) federal tax-exempt organization that funds research, and each dollar will be matched by a generous group of CMTRF donors.
Alan Jackson’s music and performances have gained him worldwide acclaim. He’s continuing his long-running tradition of “keepin’ it country” as he brings over 30 years of hits to the concert stage one final time. Raise a glass – it’s LAST CALL: ONE MORE FOR THE ROAD!
