I’m excited to tell you about Hannah Anders. I’m not sure how I missed this one. Today I received a press release, telling me about Hannah’s single, “Outside Looking In”. The song is available on all digital streaming platforms. “Outside Looking In” is 4-1/2 minutes of perfect! Melody, lyrics, tempo, vocals, story! It couldn’t be a better song. I listened to it a number of times. The first few times, it was to find out what was coming next. It is a great song. From the slow, graceful melodious short instrumental opening to the last line of the song. You don’t want to miss a thing in between.
Once I spent some time listening to that one – and getting it into rotation on my play list – I realized there was a lot more to Hannah Anders that I could tell from that one song. For me, Spotify offered more from her. “I Don’t Know About You” is a ‘jump outta your chair’ and move song. It’s fast, it’s a story, and it’s totally different from “Outside Looking In”, but it has just as much entertaining and enjoyable as the “Outside”.
When you listen to “Grandma’s Hands”, you might think she’s talking about your mamaw, grandma, nannie, or whatever you called her. Because I believe we all had a grandmother like the one Hannah is singing about. I could probably write volumes about her music, but I’m just going to let you all get to the press release a few paragraphs below, and promise you are going to listen to some of her music.
