Country trailblazer and proud Kentucky native JD Shelburne released his highly anticipated new album, Raised on the Good Stuff, on November 14, debuting at #28 on the Apple Country Album Chart. The project marks another significant milestone in a career defined by authenticity, tireless touring, and an unwavering connection with fans nationwide.

The video was produced by Stormlight Pictures and directed by Logen ChristopherIn a special moment for the artist, Shelburne invited his wife to make her on-screen debut in the official music video, which premiered on The Heartland Network. Fans can watch the video now in rotation on CMT and JD’s official YouTube channel.

The album’s lead single, “Backroad Kinda Love,” released on Oct. 24th, is a high-octane, windows-down anthem built for gravel roads and summer nights, written by Mark Nesler, Mike McQuerry, and Adam Fears. The track pulses with crisp electric guitars, tight percussion, and a sing-along chorus destined for tailgate speakers and Friday-night drives. Shelburne’s unmistakable vocal brings the imagery to life, dust trails, radio up, small-town sparks, and moonlit fields, capturing the kind of simple, undeniable love found far off the main road. The title sponsor of Shelburne’s album celebration, Texas Roadhouse, is now featuring the new video in rotation across all of its locations nationwide.

Raised on the Good Stuff was produced by Mike Proctor, Bart Busch, and Maks Gabriel, and showcases the electric energy and honest storytelling that have made Shelburne one of country music’s most relatable voices. Marking his seventh studio album since arriving in Nashville in 2008, the project follows a landmark year highlighted by Shelburne’s Grand Ole Opry debut on July 5, 2025, more than 3,000 live performances, and a rapidly expanding fan base across the U.S.

Across ten tracks and a bonus cut from some of Nashville’s most respected songwriters, Shelburne delivers his strongest vocal performance to date, capturing the heart, grit, and lived-in perspective that define his career and fuel one of country music’s most devoted audiences.
