Today, two-time GRAMMY® winner and globally beloved entertainer Billy Ray Cyrus debuts “On Our Way Along,” a deeply personal and heartfelt collaboration with his daughter, GRAMMY® nominated Noah Cyrus. Available across all streaming services now via Billion Streams Entertainment, the track marks a significant milestone in Cyrus’s storied career and serves as the first official single from his forthcoming album THE HILL (via Billion Streams Entertainment), arriving 6.16.26.
“On Our Way Along” is more than just a duet, it’s a reflection of legacy, connection, and artistic evolution. The single represents a true family affair, with Noah Cyrus not only lending her voice but also contributing as a creative collaborator. Adding another layer to the project’s deeply rooted family dynamic is Billy Ray’s son, Braison Cyrus, who co-wrote and co-produced the track, as well as the forthcoming album.
The release of THE HILL marks Billy Ray Cyrus’s first set of fully new studio material in 14 years, signaling both a new chapter and a return to his Nashville songwriting roots – a genuine return to form for the multi-hyphenate artist.
“Talk about full circle. This is a really special time in my life, after the 20th anniversary of Hannah Montana with Miley last week on Disney, and now releasing ‘On Our Way Along’ with Braison and Noah appropriately taking place on the most sacred of all weekends … Good Friday” stated Billy Ray Cyrus. “Braison put together an eclectic group of musicians when we recorded it at the world-famous Castle studios. It’s a celebration of all things music and family. Made from the heart… for the heart.”
“I’m really proud to be teaming up with my dad and my brother Braison (our producer) for this song,” added Noah Cyrus. “Braison’s produced a beautiful album and I’m happy to be just a small part of it and our father’s legacy.”
Accompanying the single is the official music video, which also releases today. Directed by acclaimed music video director and CMA Award winner Dustin Haney (Miley Cyrus, Cody Johnson, Shawn Mendes, Kelsey Ballerini), the visual delivers a compelling narrative that mirrors the emotional depth of the song, further emphasizing the bond shared between father and daughter. Filmed on the family’s Nashville property, the video brings the song’s return-to-form spirit full circle. Watch the music video HERE.
This release arrives on the heels of renewed public excitement surrounding Billy Ray Cyrus’s recent participation in a Hannah Montana reunion, reintroducing him to audiences across generations while reinforcing his lasting cultural impact.

His debut album Some Gave All spent a record-breaking 17 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, propelled by the global phenomenon “Achy Breaky Heart.” Over the course of his career, Cyrus has earned numerous accolades, including Billboard Music Awards, MTV VMAs, CMA Awards, and more. He also holds the record for the longest-running No. 1 song on the Billboard Hot 100 as a collaborator and songwriter on “Old Town Road.” A dedicated philanthropist, Cyrus actively supports U.S. service members, veterans, and first responders.
Noah Cyrus: “For a long time, I couldn’t really trust my own choices. I had to learn how to make decisions for myself,” says Noah Cyrus. “But I’ve found who I am, and this record shows what I had inside me all this time. This album is me.”
Co-produced by Noah with longtime collaborators Mike Crossey and PJ Harding, I WANT MY LOVED ONES TO GO WITH ME is rooted in Americana, indie folk, and country music. The album is a moody, immersive listening experience, blending whispered vocals with full-throated declarations of independence, devotion, and self-understanding. Organic instrumentation — including pedal steel, banjo, dulcimer, mandolin, cellos, and acoustic guitars — frames Noah’s smoky, supple voice as she explores themes of family, nature, and personal growth.
While Noah hinted at country influences on her 2022 debut The Hardest Part, she fully embraces the genre here, collaborating with Bill Callahan, Blake Shelton, and Ella Langley. The deluxe edition features additional tracks with Orville Peck and Stephen Wilson Jr. Following the album’s release, Noah completed a sold-out North American tour in fall 2025, further cementing her reputation as a captivating live performer.
