Today, PLATINUM-selling duo LOCASH add another highlight to an action-packed summer with the release of their new EP Let The Country Music Play. Out now via LOCASH’s own Galaxy Label Group, the five-song project celebrates the kind of down-home Country living that never goes out of style. Go here to listen to Let The Country Music Play.

A new collection from singer/songwriters Preston Brust and Chris LucasLet The Country Music Play finds LOCASH co-writing with MULTI-PLATINUM superstars Cole Swindell and Thomas Rhett as well as hitmaking heavyweights like Ashley Gorley (Chris Stapleton, Luke Bryan) and Ben Johnson (Morgan Wallen, Jelly Roll). Stacked with crowd-commanding melodies, the EP brings the duo’s lived-in storytelling to songs about homegrown pride, lifelong devotion, and the unshakable power of love and faith — ultimately capturing LOCASH at their most unmistakably Country.

LOCASH’s first body of work since Bet The Farm — a landmark album featuring their chart-topping smash “Hometown Home,” Country Aircheck/Mediabase’s No. 4 Overall Song of 2025 — Let The Country Music Play features their soul-soothing anthem “Talkin Bout.” In a prime example of the EP’s infectious optimism, the deeply felt love song finds romance in everything from small-town life and classic Country to baseball and blue-collar pride.

Officially impacting Country radio on August 24, “Talkin Bout” appears alongside previously released songs like “YES”: a poignant yet lighthearted reflection on choosing forever in an unpredictable world. Meanwhile, on Let The Country Music Play’s euphoric title track, LOCASH and Parmalee put a brilliantly fun spin on Rupert Holmes’ “Escape (The Piña Colada Song),” transforming the yacht-rock standard into a timeless tribute to Country’s greatest legends. Check out the full tracklist to Let The Country Music Play below.

With summer in full swing, LOCASH continue their LET THE COUNTRY MUSIC PLAY TOUR this Sunday (8/9) by taking the stage at Spiedie Fest & Balloon Rally in Binghamton, NY. Currently scheduled through December 12 in Hollywood, FL, the North American headline run includes stops in major markets like Las Vegas (August 16), as well as appearances at can’t-miss summer festivals like OC Smoke Show in Mission Viejo, CA (August 15), Country Splash Cabo in San José del Cabo, Mexico (September 5), and more. In mid-September, LOCASH will also return to the Hilton Head Island Jam Songwriter Festival, where they’ll once again host the LOCASH Golf Bash on the fairways of Atlantic Dunes at Sea Pines Resort, with proceeds benefiting Lowcountry charities and the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. ABOUT LOCASH:
A PLATINUM-selling duo who play by their own rulebook, LOCASH make feel-good Country music with a small-town spirit and big-time impact. Betting on themselves, singer/songwriters Preston Brust and Chris Lucas latest album Bet The Farm delivered fan favorites like “Hometown Home” (a multi-week No. 1 smash that landed in the Top 5 of Country Aircheck’s “Top 25 Songs of 2025”), “Isn’t She Country,” “Buzzin,” and “Wrong Hearts.” Those songs add to a hit-stacked catalog already including nine chart-climbing singles, such as their 2015 PLATINUM breakout “I Love This Life” and GOLD No. 1s “One Big Country Song” and “I Know Somebody,” racking up 1 BILLION+ global streams. In 2024, the multi-hyphenates launched their own record label, Galaxy Label Group. The one-of-a-kind record label allows Brust and Lucas to maintain complete creative control over their music while mentoring a whole new generation of like-minded stars. LOCASH’s bold and soulful brand of Country has garnered nominations from the genre’s biggest award shows and earned raves from the likes of American Songwriter (who praised the duo for “hitting homers and serving up first-class songs”). With career highlights including teaming up with Monster Jam to create their own limited-edition die-cast truck and playing stadiums all over the country as support for Kane Brown’s IN THE AIR TOUR, LOCASH are keeping up their momentum with in-demand headline shows and major festival stops. In recent years, they’ve also made high-profile national TV appearances on Live with Kelly & Mark, Good Morning America, ABC News Live, CBS Mornings Plus, Fox & Friends, and more.
