Our long-time Country’s Chatter readers know that we have been sharing Home Free videos for qute a while now. This awesome a cappella group has been entertaining fans since they won the fourth season of The Sing–Off on NBC in 2013.
They have a new video out, and it is one of our favorite Jake Owen songs, “Down to the Honkytonk”. Since we have not seen any press on this fun-tastic video from, we decided to just take care of that on our own. the video premiered on the Home Free YouTube channel on May 1, and now, we’re sharing it with all of you.
Like the rest of the country, and much of the world, the boys are all quarantined at their homes. But, they weren’t gong to let that stop them. One of their biggest fans, Marcia Grzesiak, told us that they have been working from home. Marcia tells us, “The guys have learned so much doing this from their homes, and their song arranger/producer is working with them remotely, too.” She told us that they have been singing in their closets, pretty much since they can’t get to a studio.
I love this video – shot at their homes, we not only get a little look inside their homes, but we also get to see kids, pets, wives, dancing, fishing, furniture rearanging, wardrobe changes, bars and pool tables. I think a party at any one of these guys’ houses would be nothing short of a great time!
Home Free has not only been doing music for us since 2013, they have been doing it great. The phrase, ‘never disappoints’ just might have been written for people to use when talking about Home Free. This is a group you will definitely want to see in concert, as soon as the touring starts again. To make sure you don’t miss a show near you, keep up with them on all of their social media (Links posted below video).
Thank you, Austin Brown, Rob Lundquist, Adam Rupp, Tim Foust, and Adam Chance, for keeping us always entertained.
